KFI is excited to announce the release of comprehensive loan portfolio data on our platform, featuring detailed information on past due accounts.
This robust data set provides a deep dive into the current state of a bank’s loan portfolio, delivering the insights you need to make informed business decisions. Key highlights include:
Granular Loan Categories: Access detailed data on various loan categories, such as health care, government, and student loans, among others.
Detailed Past Due Information: Obtain breakdowns of past due accounts, categorized by 1-29 days past due, 30-59 days past due, 60-89 days past due, and 90+ days past due.
Seamless Integration: Effortlessly incorporate this data into your existing KFI workflows for streamlined analysis.
An analysis of Truist Financial Corporation (NYSE: TFC) demonstrates that, while the bank’s total loan portfolio has been shrinking since 1Q 2023, its exposure remains concentrated within the commercial sector (51% of total loans) and residential real estate sector (21% of total loans), according to data compiled by KFI. Notably, Truist’s total past due rate has improved, with a 23 basis point (bps) decrease year-over-year (YoY) and a 7 bps decrease quarter-over-quarter (QoQ). This YoY improvement was largely driven by the bank’s strategic decision to sell off its student loan portfolio to Carlyle Group earlier this year, resulting in a 101 bps YoY and 30 bps QoQ decrease in the consumer loan past due rate.
With this powerful new data at your fingertips, you’ll be able to:
Benchmark Performance: Compare your bank’s loan portfolio performance against industry peers and competitors.
Monitor Financial Health: Conduct detailed counterparty risk analysis using past due account information to assess the financial health of your banking relationships.
